Before Jesus went to the Father, he gave instructions to his followers to repent and change their way of thinking, for the kingdom was at hand. This would result in a new way of thinking for them. Things were no longer going to work the way they had before. He instructed them in the good news that the kingdom had begun. He healed all kinds of sickness and diseases and taught them that they could be great in this kingdom that was coming from heaven to earth. He explained how it would start small and would grow throughout the earth in the same manner that yeast multiplies in bread making, and the world would not even see it happening. He gave them the authority and ordered them to take charge of this kingdom and called them “children of the kingdom.” He gave them, and all who would hear about him through their teaching, the keys to function in this new kingdom and explained how this authority was activated by faith-filled words. He said the kingdom was like a man going into a far country and leaving his servants in charge and taught that they would be accountable for what they had accomplished when he returned. We are those people today. You will learn how this kingdom works, the authority of those in charge, and how to use your authority in the unseen realm.

In the Bible, the people of Israel claim to worship God, but ultimately, following Jeroboam, they were worshipping the golden calves. In fact, more than 2/3 of the history of Israelites was a history of having worshipped the golden calves, thinking them to be God. Ultimately, even now, they continue to go on living without realizing the fact that Jesus Christ, who has come by the gospel of the water and the Spirit, is their true Savior. In spite of it all, there are many Jews who are waiting for their Savior, even now. Then, how is the faith of you who claim to be taking part in Christianity in this New Testament Era? Do you currently believe in and follow God with a proper understanding of Him? If not, aren't you perhaps worshipping golden calves with a misapprehension of them as God? If you are like that, then you must become aware of the fact that you are worshipping an idol before God like the people of Israel. Then, you must revert back and meet the Lord who has come by the gospel of the water and the Spirit. I am sure that you will be able to believe in the gospel Truth when you truly realize before God what the Truth of the salvation in the gospel of the water and the Spirit is, won't you? I wish to testify before you the true faith and the Truth under the title, "Heretics, Who Followers the sins of Jeroboam." By all means, I hope you will be a person of the same faith as that of mine.

Words Of Loving Counsel And Sympathy is a message of meditation based on the Bible and written by Mrs. Winslow possessed a remarkably fertile, as a deeply sanctified, pen. It was emphatically the "pen of a ready writer," whose teachings seemed ever under the guiding hand of God's Spirit. In this, probably, lay her peculiar gift, and this defined her far-reaching sphere of usefulness. Her yet unpublished remains compose a large amount of material, capable of being molded into varied forms of sacred instruction and beauty. "What shall be their disposal?" was a serious and responsible question. To destroy them appeared a sacrilege; entirely to withhold them from the Christian Church, a robbery. The present volume is, in a limited measure, a reply to this question. It is composed of sacred and precious thoughts, culled from her extensive correspondence, bearing, as the occasion demanded, upon some of the most important and interesting topics of the believer's experience. In this department of Christian service she was eminently fitted, from her own personal and rich experience, her deep-toned spirituality, not less than by the holy and beautiful consistency of her religious life, to be "a succourer of many." "She has been a helper of many and of myself as well." Romans 16:2 The streams which flow through this unpretending little volume will, it is hoped, refresh and invigorate many of the Lord's people, whose souls, like Israel of old, are much discouraged because of the hardness of way. The readings, though brief and this will be a peculiar charm to many who cannot command time or strength for more lengthened teaching will be found to embrace a wide range of topics. The anxious seeker will be led to Jesus; the feeble believer will be strengthened; the wanderer from the Savior will be allured back; the ignorant mind will be instructed; the tried spirit will be comforted; the desponding heart will be cheered; the tempted soul will be succored; the advanced believer will be aided; and even the minister of Christ will be stimulated and encouraged it is humbly and prayerfully trusted, with the Divine blessing from a perusal of these unassuming pages. They are the breathings of one who dwelt much in the region of the cross, who often, to use her own expressive words, "took her walks alone" one who lived in close communion with God, and who came daily up out of the wilderness leaning in simple, calm faith, upon her Beloved. As such, it is hoped they will receive a welcome in many a Christian home, and awaken a psalm of praise in many a believing heart. And to the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit shall be ascribed all the glory! Octavius Winslow, February, 1868.
It was never in my plan to write a book like this, having published some recently. Writing this book was never my conception. In His usual dealings with me, and without any prior discussion, God impressed upon me to get another book out to the church. For days God’s hand was strong. Apart from speaking in meetings, God never let me do any other thing but to get this work done. I understood the heart of God. I could sense the urgency of the Spirit. God has given so much in Christ but we are manifesting so little of Christ. God was saying, “Many of my children do not know what they have. I want to reveal Myself once again so that they know the limitless power that I have released to the church, hence this book.” This book may not be like other books many readers are used to. The reader may not get the best if he reads only once and drops it. If he reads once or twice he may not fully understand it. It is a book he must read, not just thrice, but as many times as possible. The reason is because some of the things the Lord is saying are deep. The reader needs to go very deep to call it forth. There is the need to sound this alarm because the book is not a novel or story or fiction. It is not a book you read in a hurry. It is a book that takes you on a spiritual journey where you will become bonded with Christ and practically rule with Him. It is a book that as you read, you will pause, meditate, pray, and continue reading. If you are a per- son whose heart is right, and not seeking for any other thing in church apart from God, you will not want to drop it until you are through. If you read this book without the mindset of drawing out all the riches God has stored in it, please do not bother to read. If only one person understands the heart of God as revealed in this book and pursues it, and becomes the kind of instrument God is looking for in our generation, then the purpose of this book is achieved; this book may have been written for just that one man. That one man can be you! Do not let the opportunity to become great for God pass you by. God is waiting for you! Blessed reading! Festus U. Ndukwe Lagos, Nigeria November 6, 2014
